Eluna is a public, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide comfort, hope and healing to children and families affected by grief and addiction. Founded in 2000 by former MLB pitcher Jamie Moyer and child advocate Karen Phelps Moyer, Eluna supports thousands of children and families each year through its free signature programs and services. Camp Erin® is the largest national bereavement program for children and teens grieving the death of someone significant in their lives and Camp Mariposa® is a national addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth impacted by a family member’s substance use disorder. The Eluna Resource Center extends Eluna’s continuum of care by providing a online hub of resources and a curated set of online resources with personalized phone and email support for families experiencing grief, addiction and other related issues. Position Summary:
To assist the Director and Assistant Director of Addiction Prevention and Mentoring
Programs in the oversight, management, development, and success of the Camp
Mariposa program for Eluna

Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all programmatic activities as the primary contact for 34
youth serving organizations who facilitate the Camp Mariposa programs in their
community.

Monitor Camp Mariposa program and best practice requirements to ensure
program quality including, but not limited to, post camp calls, end of year
reports, applications, waiver and releases, surveys, budgets, programmatic
activities and schedules.

Identify potential partners in the United States as well as United Kingdom
Support data collection and entry into Salesforce, in coordination with Program Data
Specialist.

Assist with update of Best Practices Guide.
Update Camp Mariposa Playbook and Camp Mariposa forms (both digital and paper
versions) annually.

Evaluate and coordinate distribution of program supplies to all Camp Mariposa locations,
including Costco cards and MLB tickets.

Coordinate response to Camp Mariposa Salesforces cases.
Manage and update partner listings in Mentor Connector.
Support broader Eluna addiction prevention and mentoring initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
AA or BA in Social Work, Psychology, Communications preferred but not required
Work experience with progressive responsibility considered in lieu of post high school
education

Strong communication skills and experience in client service a plus
Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on attention to detail
Experience working with a diverse group of individuals and organizations
Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to effectively work with team members
Confidentiality, honesty and discretion required
Commitment to Eluna’s mission
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
