SAFE Campuses
SAFE Project’s “SAFE Campuses” portfolio collaboratively develops and empowers innovative, sustainable approaches to recovery, harm reduction, and prevention on college campuses across the country.
SAFE Campuses partners with colleges and universities to transform campus cultures and fill gaps in services. Our team works to address substance use-related risks and promote recovery in all its forms. Each campus holds the potential to be a haven of support, offering invaluable resources to students — whether they are seeking their path to recovery, have been touched by addiction’s impact, or are eager to shape more open dialogue around mental health and substance use.
SAFE Campuses programs and services reflect the reality that the needs of students and staff at higher education institutions can vary. Some avenues for change on college campuses are most effectively pursued by students, while others are accessible only to staff. SAFE Campuses offers a range of entry points for various audiences seeking to shape their institution.
