Amelia Ferrell Knisely

Amelia Ferrell Knisely is an investigative reporter for West Virginia Watch, where her work primarily focuses on child welfare, poverty, education and politics. Her work has won several national awards and drawn state legislators’ attention to ongoing problems in the West Virginia foster care system. She and her husband have three daughters under the ages five and under.
