Champions for Children 2025 Recap

Thank you to everyone who celebrated Eluna’s 25th anniversary at our 2025 Champions for Children event last Friday! We were overjoyed to gather with friends, camp families, special guests, and Philadelphia’s very own Phillie Phanatic to honor the community leaders who champion our mission. Another congratulations to our honorees: Amanda Kloots (actor, author, entrepreneur, and T.V. host), Daniel J. Hilferty (Chairman and CEO, Comcast Spectacor), and M&T Bank (a bank committed to building a stronger community — together).

Because of your support we raised over $377,000 to help keep our grief camps, addiction prevention and mentoring camps, and resource center free for those who need them most.

This year’s event was particularly special as we celebrated 25 years of Eluna’s programs. From our beginnings in Seattle as The Moyer Foundation, to a national network of camps and our online resource center, we have helped nearly 60,000 campers, worked with 34,000 volunteers, and had over 1.3 million visitors to the resource center.

In the next 25 years, we hope to expand our camps across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring no child or family affected by grief or addiction goes without support. To help keep this dream alive, here are some ways to stay involved:
