Eluna Welcomes New President to its Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees works to advance Eluna’s mission of supporting children and families impacted by grief or addiction. By providing strategic advice and oversight, the Board fosters new connections, helps to develop equitable policies, and plays a crucial role in helping execute a sustainable vision for the organization and those we serve.
For the past 7 years, Ellen Barry has served as Board President. With her expertise in corporate communications, Ellen’s exemplary leadership was instrumental in positioning Eluna for success as the organization evolved, expanded, and rebranded. Building upon her legacy, Kevin Mincio, Managing Director of Watermark Estate Managing Services, was elected President effective January 1, 2021. Mincio, an Army veteran, has been an avid supporter of Eluna through the organization he founded, Team Jesse, to support families of fallen soldiers and has raised thousands of dollars for Eluna through the Team Jesse Ride to Remember annual bike ride. Kevin has previously served as Eluna’s Corporate Secretary and as a member of the board finance committee. Kevin was instrumental in facilitating the integration of Team Jesse into Eluna’s broader umbrella of programming in 2020.
“We are so grateful for the guidance and support of the incredible Ellen Barry who has enriched this organization and strengthened it over the last 7 years and know she will continue to be a force for our families though her service on the marketing and communications committee. We are all so excited for Kevin’s tenure and know that his results-oriented focus, passion for our programs and extensive experience in technology and management will serve Eluna, our partners and our families well.”
Mary K FitzGerald, CEO, Eluna.
