Author Series Read Aloud: RIP Corey

Neurodiversity

Welcome to Eluna’s Author Series: A set of read-aloud videos and accompanying author interviews to further support youth affected by grief or a family member’s substance use disorder. This video project aims to elevate select picture books in a user-friendly format to foster hope & healing in the home, classroom, and community.

In this first Author Series Read Aloud, we welcome author Chris Buchanan to read RIP Corey: My Friend Died and It Sucks!

RIP Corey is a graphic novel for readers of all abilities that does not overwhelm, so teens and young adults will feel compelled to open it, look at it, and find the support they need to process, talk about, and heal their grief.

Click here to jump to our Author Series Interview with Chris Buchanan for some tips on how to foster a heartfelt dialogue with young readers.
