Forefront: Innovations in Suicide Prevention
Forefront Suicide Prevention is a Center of Excellence at the University of Washington focused on reducing suicide by empowering individuals and communities to take sustainable action, championing systemic change, and restoring hope.
Goal: To innovate, incubate, and scale effective practices for suicide prevention.
Values: Everyone can act to prevent suicide and guide others to effective care for mental health. Suicide is a leading casue of death in America, suicide is preventable, and Forefront is empowering people to prevent suicide.
Eluna and Forefront are working together to create content for this resource center in order to provide support to surviviors of suicide and to promote suicide grief awareness for teachers and administrators. Jennifer Stuber, the founder of forefront, has sent her children to Camp Erin Seattle and has since been an advocate for Camp Erin and Eluna.
