Lifeline Connections – Camp Mariposa Vancouver, WA
Founded in 1962, Lifeline Connections is a private, non-profit community-based behavioral health organization that specializes in providing mental health and substance use treatment, crisis services, and social support services in the Pacific Northwest and is CARF accredited.
Lifeline’s mission is “to inspire hope and support life-saving changes for people affected by substance use and mental health conditions.” Our vision is “to be recognized as the premier provider of substance use and mental health services in the Pacific Northwest by providing integrated care, comprehensive services, and enduring relationships.”
They serve about 5,200 people annually, through 11 locations, offering comprehensive mental and behavioral health services through our inpatient and outpatient programs.
Lifeline’s mental health programs include individual counseling, group therapy, case management, peer support, and medication management for several mental health conditions.
In recent years, Lifeline Connections has focused its resources on expanding access to care through technology and telehealth. As a result, they use the myStrength app to supplement services and offer a safe and secure way to help clients build resiliency, manage stress or anxiety, manage chronic pain, or prevent relapse.
Lifeline Connections is Eluna’s Camp Mariposa SW Washington partner. Camp Mariposa is a free, weekend camp program for children ages 9-12. At camp, youth participate in fun, traditional camp activities combined with education and support sessions led by trained professionals and adult mentors. Additional social and educational activities are offered for youth, and their families throughout the year. Youth who attend Camp Mariposa learn coping skills that build resiliency and break the cycle of addiction.
