Meet the Author
Simone Brown is a first-time author and full-time school psychologist in Washington, DC. She has a Master of Education in School Psychology from Howard University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oakwood University. Of her many roles, she is most proud to hold the titles of daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Having been impacted by parental addiction, Simone is dedicated to using her personal experience and expertise to support the social and emotional wellbeing of children, families and communities with similar stories.
