Explaining death to a young child can feel overwhelming and intimidating. The Dougy Center has created a three page tip sheet that can help support a grieving Little.  These tips may help you navigate how to talk with and support grieving preschoolers after a death. 

Tips include:

  • Provide supportive environments
  • Establish structure and routine
