The Mending Word: grief writing groups for teens & adults
The Mending Word was created by Michal, shortly after she experienced the loss of her mother and father within two years. In the early days of Michal’s grieving, she yearned to find a place where she could write about her thoughts and share them freely with fellow grievers who understood. When she did not find a community, Michal decided to start one. The Mending Word is intended to be a community to process grief through creative writing workshops. Grief can be extremely lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. In Michal’s virtual interactive writing workshops, you can connect with others who are processing loss through creative writing, build authentic relationships with people who GET it, and uncover the power of writing.
