Brian Maus

Director of Addiction Prevention & Mentoring Programs

Brian joined Eluna in February 2013. He responsible for overseeing all aspects of the national Camp Mariposa network. Over the last three years, the Camp Mariposa program has expanded significantly in the number of locations, the scope of services and the number of youth served each year. Brian earned his Bachelors of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross and his Masters of Arts from La Salle University. He is a licensed Couples and Family Therapist with 28 years of experience working with children, teens, and families from diverse backgrounds. In the mid-1990’s, Brian developed an innovative home-based family therapy program for families whose lives had been impacted by serious violent crime. In the early 2000’s, Brian developed a national model outreach program for individuals and families living with cancer. When not at work, Brian loves spending time with his wife, two teenage daughters, and their energetic rescue dog, Kai. He enjoys spending Fridays at the beach, helping visitors in Philadelphia find interesting places off the beaten path, and discovering new places to have a great meal.
