Dan O’Connor

Staff Accountant

Dan O’Connor joined Moravian University in August 2018 and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Practice in Accounting. At Moravian, he has also served as the advisor to the student-led investment club, a faculty mentor to the cross-country and track & field teams, and has assisted in the creation of a new major in organizational leadership. He is also in the process of completing his PhD in Leadership at Alvernia University. Prior to Moravian, Dan worked in several accounting and finance roles with Santander Bank, Advanta Corp., and the Vanguard Group. He also spent time working with Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County as a community relations manager. Dan earned both his B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. from DeSales University. Originally from Philadelphia, Dan now resides in Coopersburg, PA with his wife, three daughters, and yellow labrador. He enjoys watching and encouraging his daughters to be brave in their education, athletics, and love for others! He also enjoys running, biking, and skiing.
