Joan Galon King

An accomplished nonprofit executive, Joan fell in love with charitable work early in her career. Inspired by volunteer experiences with the American Cancer Society and the YMCA, Joan set an intention to work in the nonprofit arena and is grateful it has become a vocation.

In the role of Director of Donor Relations, Joan is responsible for securing funds for the organization by helping donors fulfill their passions and interests through their giving to Eluna. Prior to joining Eluna, Joan served as the Northeast Regional Director of Community Development for Learning Ally. Throughout her career Joan has held nonprofit leadership roles in the health and human services, education, and arts and culture fields with organizations including the Nantucket Historical Association, Access Nantucket, Bancroft, Liberty Science Center, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the American Heart Association.  Joan received her B.S. degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University.

Joan enjoys travel, spending time with her family and friends, and capturing images and stories of everyday life through the hobby of memory keeping. She lives in Southern New Jersey with her husband and dog, and she’s thrilled that her son lives nearby.
