She holds the distinction of being the station’s very first Race and Culture Reporter, working across ABC networks to create meaningful, impactful stories that represent all people. TaRhonda became Gold Star sister when her brother, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Terry Thomas, made the ultimate sacrifice. For that reason, TaRhonda is passionate about advocating for Gold Star families, military families and veterans.
