Revive Recovery Resource Center Re-opens Camp Mariposa to Support Youth Impacted by Substance Use in New Hampshire
Nashua, NH – April 21, 2026 — Revive Recovery Resource Center is proud to announce the re-opening of Camp Mariposa, a transformational prevention and mentoring program designed for youth ages 9–17 who have been impacted by the substance use of a family member. The program provides a safe, supportive environment where youth can build resilience, develop coping skills, and connect with caring adult mentors and peers who understand their experiences.
Camp Mariposa is a nationally recognized evidence-informed program that combines traditional camp experiences with year-round mentoring and prevention education. Through fun, healing-centered activities such as team-building, recreation, arts, and leadership development, youth gain confidence while learning healthy ways to navigate the challenges often associated with family substance use.
This local Camp Mariposa program is being funded through the generous support of Eluna, the national organization behind Camp Mariposa and other no-cost youth support programs serving families impacted by grief or addiction.
“Too many children silently carry the weight of addiction in their homes,” says Jessica Carter, Executive Director of Revive Recovery Resource Center. “Camp Mariposa gives young people something every child deserves — hope, connection, and the chance to simply be kids while building the tools they need to thrive.”
The program will serve families across Southern New Hampshire and reflects Revive’s commitment to breaking cycles of trauma, strengthening families, and creating brighter futures for the next generation. Participation in Camp Mariposa is free for accepted youth and families.
