Activity: Stepping IN or OUT of Grief
A coping skill is an activity that makes you feel better. In grief work, it is important to consider a range of coping skills & strategies that may help to Step In and Out of grief.
- A Step In activity helps you to step into and process thoughts and feelings associated with your grief.
- A Step Out activity allows you to step out of your grief, even if momentarily, and focus your attention on something you enjoy.
Both are valuable. Having a list of both types and using them strategically is essential to learning how to care for your grief.
This printable worksheet, designed by Eluna’s team of clinicians, will provide sample activities and prompts to build a list unique to you and your grief.
