The Riverside County Suicide Prevention Coalition works collectively to eliminate suicide deaths and suicide attempts and increase resources and supports in Riverside County

The Coalition is made up of eight sub-committees and workgroups. Each sub-committee has their own unique set of goals and objectives that work toward advancing the goals of the strategic plan, and our mission in Riverside County to eliminate suicide. If you have an area of expertise or are interested in one or more of the areas outlined in our sub-committees, you can find out more information as well as meeting times at the subcommittee page.

The Riverside County Suicide Prevention Coalition has Quarterly Meetings that are open to all – please register to attend to hear about work being done, learn more about suicide prevention and share your thoughts.

Trauma Intervention Programs (TIP) of Riverside County
Trauma Intervention Programs Inc. (TIP) is a national non-profit organization founded in 1985.  Each affiliate uses specially trained citizen volunteers to respond to traumatic incidents to support victims and their families in the first few hours following a tragedy. The Riverside County Chapter of TIP was founded in 1993. There are currently 38 volunteers serving 7 jurisdictions, 5 hospitals, and 5 public safety agencies. The Chapter receives support and guidance from TIP National.

Suicide Grief for Children & Teens: How to Answer Tough Questions

When grieving the death of a person in your life to suicide, it can be difficult to answer questions related to your person or how they died. Special events and holidays are especially hard when the questions tend to roll in about the whereabouts and wellbeing of family and friends.
